about 4-4 1/2 hours. it's pretty boring, but it's nothing like 12 hours to Hawaii.

The non-stop flights take just over 4 hours in the air. But of course you have to add 30 mins on the ground at JFK and maybe 15 in Vegas so you will probably be on the plane closer to 5 hours. Its a fun flight though as ussualy people are in good moods and there is no shortage of drinking on the flights.

Just flew out of JFK to Vegas earlier in December. After 40 minutes on the ground at JFK for our morning flight, we were in the air almost 4 1/2 hours going out. It took just about 4 hours coming back on the red eye.
