How long will it take to check in a medium sized crocodile on a flight to New York?
could I take it on board as hand luggage to save time?

I think if you feed it well before the flight - like a dozen chickens or a small pig, AND, if it can convincingly pretend to be a handbag, a pair of shoes or boots, or a briefcase - then it should be no problem. Lots 'a luck! Let us know how it turns out.

What do you mean by "MEDIUM" size??? Cannot take live animals on plane (except very small dogs and cats). Must deal with the airlines directly at least 72 hrs prior the flight and pay the transport.
